the weird sense of touch (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

My article was all about the weird sense of touch. According to the article, the sense of touch is disproportionate throughout the body. This is seen with a model known as cortical homunculus (which is the stuff of my nightmares 😨). Another weird fact is that with age, our sense of touch declines. This is due to the loss of touch receptors.

fighter fly! ╰(‵□′)╯ [ BioHeroes ]

Month: August (motor cortex)

Day: 15 (Norepinephrine)

My hero's name is Fighter Fly. Fighter Fly was an ordinary girl in an ordinary world until one day she had a presentation. She was so scared that when she got up to present she ran away faster than car! She finally came to a stop when she encountered an evil penguin. The penguin tried to punch her but due to her increased alertness, she punched the penguin super hard in the belly! This relates to norepinephrine as it is the neurotransmitter related to alertness or fight or flight reaction. Fligher fly is only able to do these actions since the motor cortex is able to control her physical action (such as running and punching).

Go Fligher Fly!! 🦹‍♀️
